In order to become an Amateur Radio user, one must successfully pass the examinations of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The exams are written and oral and are conducted twice a year. The subject matter includes radio theory, radio communications regulations, basic knowledge of electronics and electrical engineering, basic knowledge of English, etc.
